Postnatal Yoga with Baby

Starting back in September on Thursday Mornings

Offering continuity from pregnancy to the postnatal year our Postnatal yoga classes are a great way to heal, strengthen and nurture yourself without needing a babysitter. Bring your little one along for some parent-baby bonding and be part of a community of new parents. Our specifically designed postnatal is uniquely suited to help you regain your core-strength, your figure and overall fitness after birth by restoring tone to the deep muscles of the pelvis and lower back. The guidelines state that you can return to gentle exercise from 6 week post natal after vaginal delivery and 8 weeks post caesarean. By the end of the first eight weeks of the postnatal period, you should be ready to return to their regular practice, but it is important to listen to what your body is ready to do. Women with a yoga practice prior to pregnancy should be careful and not rush back into their usual yoga practice.

Our Pregnancy classes take place online and at the studio, please check Mindbody for the latest schedule.
