It's normal to have some questions before you start something new. Here is a little fact sheet to help you out but please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions, at claremariepilates@gmail.com

I've never done PIlates before, am I fit enough?

 

The beauty of Pilates is that it's completely adaptable for all body types and fitness levels. We offer different levels throughout the class so that you can work at the level that suits you on that day! The most important thing is that you listen to your body. So whether you have never done anything like this before or you are dusting off your mat, we offer something to suit everyone.

Do I need to bring anything specific?

 

No, just yourself is required. 

What do I wear?

 

We suggest that you just wear something comfortable, that you can move in e.g. leggings or jogging bottoms with a t-shirt or tank top. Bare feet is encouraged but socks can be worn if you prefer. 

Am I obliged to buy a package once I try the trial session.

 

Only if you like it! There is no obligation to sign up once you try. We just want you to keep moving and enjoy the session. If you are not vibing with the instructor then it's not a problem, maybe we can help you by suggeting a different teacher or exercise method that may suit you better. The most important thing for us is that you are getting your body moving so that you can lead a happier and healthy life. 

How often do I need to come to class to see results?

 

Obviously the more often you can attend a session the quicker you will start seeing results. Ideally you want to try and come to class once a week, if you can make two sessions that would be great but if it is too stressful to attend twice a week, then that defeats the object. So, we advise the best approach is to make your goals realistic and schedule realistic too. Life is all about balance after all!
